Job summary
- Perform hydro-vac excavation at jobsite
- Various support work connected to hydro-vac excavation: restoration, backfill, etc.
- Ensure proper maintenance of vehicles and equipment
job requirements
• Valid DZ class Ontario driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
• Experience working in the construction industry including site preparation and restoration. Previous experience in hydro excavation is preferred
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot issues and equipment, including preventative maintenance
• Driving experience with all weather and road conditions
work conditions
- Open availability Monday to Friday, with weekend and after hours (nights) availability as needed
- Must be able to work in a confined space; walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Safety equipment will be required such as, but not limited to: hard hat, safety boots, safety glasses, respirators
- Overtime as required
- Hazards associated with the trade
- Work environment: outdoors, construction sites or similar, public areas, exposure to all seasonal weather, dust, etc.
